This year, the ASA is partnering with Jovie of Chicago to provide in-room childcare for attendees of the 2026 ASA Conference. Please reference the flyer above to contact and schedule your childcare with Jovie. You are responsible for arranging and paying for childcare with Jovie. If you would like to request a childcare stipend from the ASA, you must complete the application below.
Childcare Stipends
The ASA is offering limited availability, first-come, first-served childcare stipends to a number of families for this year’s conference. You must fill out the Childcare Stipend Application form (posted below) in order to qualify for a childcare stipend. Booking services with Jovie of Chicago does not automatically put you on the list for a childcare stipend.
Stipend Details:
Stipends are only available for those contracting with our local provider, Jovie of Chicago. Funds cannot be used to give to friends or family members for their services. Contact information for Jovie of Chicago can be found in the flyer above.
Stipends will be paid out after the conference once proof of purchase is provided. The ASA is able to pay up to $360 per family (worth the cost of two, 4-hour childcare sessions with a Jovie sitter) in childcare stipends. There are a limited amount of funds available, so stipends will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis based on the timeliness of their application.

You must complete this application for a childcare stipend no later than Oct 8 in order to be considered. If we reach funding capacity sooner than Oct 8, you will be added to a waiting list after filling out this form.
