Children and Youth Studies Caucus
The Children and Youth Studies Caucus is seeking applications for its inaugural Emerging Scholar Award.
Emerging Scholar Award
This award honors a scholar whose work demonstrates an ability to push the field in new directions with intellectual curiosity, methodological rigor, and meaningful engagement with childhood studies. We are especially interested in work that builds connections across disciplines and contributes to broader conversations and debates in the field.
Through this award, the Children and Youth Studies Caucus aims to support emerging scholars at a critical stage of their careers and to highlight the vibrancy and relevance of childhood studies. Award recipients will be recognized at the annual meeting of the American Studies Association.
