The ASA Program Committee invites self-nominations from ASA members who are willing to serve as chairs and commentators for panes constructed from individual paper proposals.
We particularly invite colleagues who are not part of a proposed session or have submitted an individual paper proposal to apply.
To Apply:
- Join or renew your membership
- Add or update your name and institutional affiliation: Login to your ASA Membership account, click “My Account,” then select “Edit Addresses” to make changes to your name, affiliation, and other information. Updates made to your membership account will transmit to the All Academic system.
- Log in to the conference site, select “Volunteer to be a Chair or Commentator” from the main menu, and submit a brief statement outlining your fields of research, areas of expertise, and topics of special interest. Specify the role(s) you are willing to play. Please note whether you are attached to any other conference proposals.
While volunteering does not guarantee placement, we do our best to ensure as many folks as possible who are interested can participate. Thank you for your interest!
