Princeton University's Effron Center for the Study of America invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Lecturer positions from scholars specializing in American Studies, Asian American Studies and/or Latino Studies. Duties include teaching precepts (sections) in our lecture introductory course American Studies 101: America Then and Now for the Fall 2022 semester. Any potential for renewal will be subject to enrollments and department need.
Serving in a preceptor capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollments.
An advanced degree is required.
Candidates working in the social sciences, environmental humanities, gender and sexuality studies, and comparative race and ethnicity are encouraged to apply.
