To apply, candidates should visit the online application site found at http://careers.kenyon.edu. A complete application will have: 1) a cover letter discussing the applicant's research and scholarship, its relevance to the field of American Studies, and prior teaching experience; 2) a statement of the applicant's teaching philosophy and plans for using inclusive pedagogy; 3) a Curriculum Vitae; 4) unofficial graduate transcript(s); and 5) names and contact information for three recommenders, at least one of which can speak to the candidate’s teaching experience. All application materials must be submitted electronically through Kenyon's employment website.
Review of applications will begin February 28, 2023, and will continue until the position is filled. Completed applications received by the deadline will be guaranteed full consideration. Direct questions to Austin Porter, associate professor and search chair, at email@example.com.
