The Program in American Studies at Princeton University is seeking applications from distinguished scholars for a senior position in American Studies. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellence in scholarship and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are particularly interested in scholars who work across an array of fields of inquiry and disciplines such as: constitutional and/or legal studies; anthropology, sociology, or religion; race, gender, and sexuality; class and inequality; food and environmental life; culture, history, and literature. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Program in American Studies and may be affiliated with department(s) best suited to her/his/their research. Field of specialization is open.
