Managing Editor Postdoctoral Position

The Department of American Studies at the University of Notre Dame seeks to appoint a postdoctoral fellow in the position of Managing Editor of American Quarterly. The Managing Editor will work closely with the editorial team to oversee the production of the journal, with duties ranging from coordinating the peer review process to working with authors to finalize publication. They will also work closely with an Associate Managing Editor. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in American Studies or a related field and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a keen interest in helping to shape the flagship journal of the American Studies Association. 

Qualifications

PhD in American Studies or a related field; the successful candidate will have earned their PhD no earlier than 2021.
