DESCRIPTION
The Ethnic Studies Review seeks submissions for a distributed special issue about the state of Ethnic Studies in the midst of contemporary political attacks. ESR is interested in articles and interviews that address how Ethnic Studies programs and practices are surviving, evolving, thriving, and in some places perishing at colleges and universities.
Prospective submissions can include the following:

Curriculum developments

Methodological interventions
-
Alliances within institutions

Alliances outside of institutions

Administrative support or lack thereof

Stories of navigating academia

Program funding
-
Faculty recruitment
-
Student advocacy
-
Political advocacy
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions should be 4,000—5,000 words.

Please follow Chicago Manual of Style guidelines.

Academic and research-based article submissions will be peer reviewed and should be submitted via the Scholastica portal: https://esr.scholasticahq.com/

Interviews and other writing forms, or creative work, will be collaboratively reviewed and should be emailed directly to the guest editors.
