Call for Submissions
Ethnic Studies Review journal
Deadline:
Sunday, April 24, 2022
Review Begins:
Wednesday, March 24, 2021

The Ethnic Studies Review invites submissions by scholars working in Ethnic Studies and related fields. We are particularly interested in comparative, critical, relational, and solidarity-based approaches to Ethnic Studies. We encourage you to visit the webpage, and review our new editorial team and advisory board members.

The journal welcomes standard research articles (peer-reviewed), and aims for a rapid turn around time for all authors.

We are also interested in a wide range of submissions that reflect the knowledge-sharing, community-building, and liberation-focused interest of our field. Please review our most recent issues to see some of the range of alternate submission forms, which include interviews, creative work, roundtable and webinar transcriptions, pedagogical technique-sharing, archival reflections, activist-intellectual provocations, and much more. If you are not sure it would be a fit, just ask - we love to chat with folks about their work and ideas.

We also welcome unsolicited book reviews.

Ethnic Studies Review is the longest standing journal for the field, publishing since 1978.

Job, fellowship, and CFP listings are services that are offered by the American Studies Association to support its members in exploring professional opportunities in American studies. Any questions should be directed to the program, department, or center that has posted the opportunity.
