GLASA has historically served Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, with a diverse membership of secondary teachers, college faculty, graduate students, independent scholars, archivists, and others. In past activities and events, its aim was to support individuals and groups in the study of American culture by helping members in locating resources, making connections with colleagues, and developing and sharing their work.
