To support regional chapters in the development of local programming and initiatives, the American Studies Association provides this space for resources specific to the chapters.
What appears here has been developed by chapter leadership and published for the purposes of sharing strategies and best practices.
- Sample winning applications for the Regional Chapter Grant provide illustrations of how some chapters have positioned their work at the regional level.
- The Regional Chapter Handbook offers a host of information, guidelines, and guidance for topics specific to the regional chapters. It appears here to support chapters as they to continue to formalize such practices, making adjustments based on more recent transformations in the association, the chapters themselves, and larger cultures and concerns within higher education.
Resources such as future white papers or reports that are intended for cross-promotion among the regional chapters should be coordinated with the Office of the Executive Director.
